These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Abruv.com, including our job board, employer services, blog, and community forum (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
If you use our Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorised to bind that company.
2. Accounts
Job seekers may create a free account to search and apply for jobs, save preferences, and receive alerts.
Employers may create accounts to post jobs, manage applications, and access candidate profiles.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
3. Use of Services
Job seekers agree to provide accurate and truthful information in their profiles and applications.
Employers agree that job postings will be genuine vacancies and comply with applicable UK employment laws.
You may not misuse our Services (e.g., scraping, spamming, posting offensive or misleading content).
4. Payments (Employers)
Employers may be required to pay fees to post jobs or access premium features.
All payments are processed securely via our payment partners.
Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
5. Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., CVs, job descriptions).
By submitting content, you grant Abruv a licence to use, display, and distribute it to provide our Services.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or is unlawful.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using our Services, you consent to that processing.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Abruv is a platform connecting employers and job seekers. We do not guarantee job offers or hiring outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
