EFL expert Lee Hendrie says it would be a “real blow” if Rovers would lose more key staff.

Tyrhys Dolan, Danny Bath and Andi Weinann left the Ewood Park in the summer after their respective business.

Callum Brittain was sold to Middlesbrough at the beginning of this month after a three -year stay in East Lancashire.

The future of Lewis Travis remains uncertain because the talks between Rovers and Derby County will continue, and the DOM Hyam deal will also expire next summer.

“I think these two players, Dom Hyam and Lewis Travis, would be a real blow for Blackburn,” Ex-Aston Villa midfielder Hendre told Football League World.

“Here, too, we come to this phase of the season in which I think most managers have closed the window and know what they have to do for the rest of the season.

“It doesn’t look good when you get rid of these two players, Dom Hyam, Lewis Travis, young and experienced and very good players.

“So take these two out of the equation, there must be an immediate replacement if this should happen.”

So far, Rovers have brought six new obligations this summer, with Sidnei Tavares, Alex Henriksson, Dion de Neve and Ryan Alebiosu, all of which arrive from European leagues.

Sean McLoughlin was contracted by Hull City, the championship club, and Lewis Miller met for a magic in Scotland.

The team of Valerien Ismael has started the new championship campaign with defeats against West Brom and Birmingham.
