Internal Project Manager – Business Process Transformation

📍 Location: Remote – UK base

📅 Contract Duration: 6 months (starting September 2025)

💼 Day Rate/Salary: Competitive

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a business-wide transformation initiative, driving the design and implementation of integrated processes, digital platforms, and tools across a growing group organisation. This is a hands-on role that requires a balance of strategic thinking, pragmatic execution, and strong stakeholder management to align multiple business functions and legacy organisations into a cohesive operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse current workflows and define a group-wide business lifecycle aligned with the company’s project and service model.
  • Facilitate cross-functional squads using agile methods to build clarity on roles, responsibilities, and deliverables across different business units.
  • Act as the central coordination point for implementing new systems (CRM, quoting, delivery, finance).
  • Drive alignment across legacy organisations to ensure coherence, strategic fit, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate transformation progress effectively to executives, internal teams, and clients.
  • Develop enablement programmes, including communications, training, documentation, and user support.
  • Promote adoption of new tools and processes across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration throughout the transformation journey.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and adapt processes/tools based on feedback and data.
  • Build a post-implementation roadmap to sustain integrated processes, digital platforms, and tools.

About You

  • Proven experience managing internal business transformation projects, ideally within professional services, consulting, or technology-led organisations.
  • Skilled at working in a matrix environment and gaining buy-in across diverse functions.
  • Strong facilitator with the ability to lead workshops and gain consensus among senior stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic and hands-on — equally comfortable at a strategic design level and “roll-up-your-sleeves” execution level.
  • Strong communication skills with experience preparing materials for executives and end users.
  • Knowledge of CRM and finance/delivery platforms implementation is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient in a changing business environment.
