Job Title: Credit Acquisition Officer (Loan Officer)

Location: Victoria Island,Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and onboard new loan customers across various market segments.
• Promote the bank’s credit products and achieve assigned loan acquisition and disbursementtargets.
• Conduct needs assessments to match customers with suitable loan products.
• Guide customers through the loan application process, ensuring compliance with documentationand credit policies.
• Collaborate with the Credit and Risk team to ensure timely evaluation and approval of loanrequests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive retention and referrals.
• Monitor loan performance and ensure prompt resolution of client-related issues.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
• Stay informed about market trends,and emerging customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years’ proven experience in loan sales, credit acquisition, or retail banking.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales or loan targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of credit processes and documentation requirements.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Tech-savvy with working knowledge of CRM or loan management tools
