After a diagnosis of breast cancer in May 2022, Carly Guerra, the beauty industry, began the Internet for supportive topical products and was disappointed with her findings. In the remission, Guerra builds her own breast brand called Savoir, which starts 111 US dollars with his Beauty Breast Serum next month.

“It was shocking for me, because … I was very young to diagnose this disease,” said Guerra, who worked in managers in brands like La Mer, Dior, Mac Cosmetics and Lancôme. “I had no idea what was in front of me.”

After her diagnosis, Guerra made a routine test for the BRCA gene and while she was waiting for her results, she began to question the beauty products that she had used diligently on her body, including her breasts.

“I just thought in front of me:” My God, I’ve been in this industry for 18 years and I have provided moisture everywhere “because your face begins in your waist. We always learn that in beauty,” she said. “As soon as I got out of the shower that day, I was looking for a product that was specially made for the chest area [and] That was clean. To my surprise, nothing existed. There were all of these different products out there who said: “We can lift them. We can make them bigger,” but nothing that was really formulated for the skin of the chest area. “

So Guerra set off to create it with Savoir himself, which means “to know” in French. The brand’s slogan is “beauty in knowledge”. Guerra, who roaded the business himself, worked with two chemists who had long -term careers in large beauty brands, and gave them specific requirements for the formula, above all that it was necessary to tackle the skin type (the chest area is the thinnest skin on the body) and to support elasticity if the breast size changes during a women’s cycle. Guerra also worked with a dermatologist certified by board to further approved the patenting formula of Savoirs Beauty Breast Serum.

The product-das Guerra has secured several prices before the start, including CEWS 2025 Spirit of Giving Award, composed of Savoir’s florafusion, which includes fermented botanicals: tomato seed oil, radish root, guavenblatt, snow fungus and parsley, a nod to Guerras Grandmoth, which also with breast cancer at the age of 88 was diagnosed.

“She taught me how to breed vegetables and herbs in her garden, and one of the ingredients that she taught me how to grow was parsley. I always knew that growing up was anti -inflammatory,” said Guerra. “I am so proud that this ingredient is in the formula, and it is all because it is wonderful for women to apply, but also in honor of their.”

The formula supports eight important requirements of the breast, including fluid intake, barrier function, soothing irritation and more.

While Guera’s diagnosis started this brand, it is for all women, regardless of whether they were diagnosed with cancer or not.

“I wanted to turn this experience with the normalization of the breast of fear to fun. This product is for every woman, not only for women who have undergone breast cancer [or] Breast cancer experience, “she said.” I was so uneducated before I was diagnosed. In one of eight women, breast cancer is diagnosed, and 10 percent of them are under 45, so that almost everyone was touched in any way by this disease. “

Apart from that, Guerra doubles education and advocacy for the brand. Savoir will have a large social campaign in October that focuses on the month of consciousness for breast cancer. In addition, Guerra has created a video that is available on the brand’s website and shows how the product is used as part of a self -testing at home.

“The application ritual serves as a self -breast examination. I wanted this to be part of the brand because one of the things I didn’t know before I was diagnosed was actually how to carry out a self -breast examination,” said Guerra. “We say women to apply the product once a day and carry out this application process once a day. Our breasts change every month, and sometimes, depending on the time of the month, they are like” What is that? “And then it is not the best approach not to do this again and not check for another month.”

While Savoir starts directly with consumers, Guerra is strategic for future retail sales. She noticed that she ensured that the formula meets the requirements of Clean in Sephora and Credo Beauty. In addition, she works to collect capital to further build the Savoir team. With regard to the product expansion, Guerra plans to create a complete breast care system, with the new starts falling off at the beginning of 2026.
