Great Britain has made his request for access to the encrypted data from Apple users who had led to friction between London and Washington, said Tulsi Gabbard, head of the US secret services, on Tuesday.

The British government wanted the Tech -Riese to create a “back door” so that the authorities could strap on data from the law enforcement authorities of Apple users, for example.

Gabard said that the request “enabled access to the protected encrypted data from American citizens and instructed them in our bourgeois freedom”.

Many tech platforms are proud to guarantee privacy through encryption between messages and others and to enable access to law enforcement authorities as off-limits for a long time.

The United Kingdom approved “to fall his mandate” after months of work with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, Gabbard, on X.

The British Ministry of the Interior rejected a statement and announced AFP that “we do not comment on company matters”.

In February, Apple set the most extended encryption function, which is referred to as Advanced Data Protection for British users.

ADP ensures that only account holders can display content such as photos and documents that are stored in the cloud about end-to-end encryption.

Police officers worldwide say that encryption can shield criminals, terrorists and pornographers in front of the public prosecutor, even if the authorities have a legal arrest warrant against an investigation.

But together with many cyber security professionals, civil rights and data protection representatives praise data encryption as a way to protect against authorities and hackers from the wrong sniffing.

At the beginning of this year, Apple said that it had never built a “back door” or “Master Key” for one of its products or services and would never do.
