Terms and Conditions for ABRUV
Effective Date: 28 March 2026
Welcome to ABRUV (“ABRUV”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at https://abruv.com and any related services, features, content, and functionality we provide.
ABRUV is a UK-based online job posting platform that enables employers, recruiters, and job seekers to connect. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use ABRUV.
1. About ABRUV
ABRUV operates as an online platform for job advertising, recruitment-related interactions, and employment opportunity discovery. We may provide services to job seekers, employers, recruiters, businesses, and other users through the platform.
Where ABRUV is operated by a UK company, the business should be identified clearly on the website using its correct legal identity and contact details. UK company and online-business rules make those disclosures important.

You agree to:
- provide accurate, complete, and current information;
- keep your login credentials secure and confidential;
- notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account;

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, are used unlawfully, or breach these Terms.
4. Services Provided
ABRUV may offer services including:
- job posting and job listing tools;
- candidate application features;
- employer and recruiter dashboards;
- profile creation and account management;
- communications relating to jobs, applications, or platform use;
- paid promotional or subscription services where applicable.
We may change, update, remove, suspend, or limit any part of the platform at any time.
5. Job Listings and Platform Role
ABRUV is a platform provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not employ candidates, guarantee job offers, verify every listing, or act as an employment agency or recruitment agency in relation to each listing.
Employers and recruiters are solely responsible for:
- the accuracy, legality, and completeness of job advertisements;
- ensuring they have the right to post vacancies;
- complying with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, advertising, immigration, tax, and data protection laws;
- communications and decisions made during recruitment.
Job seekers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their CVs, profiles, applications, and any information submitted through the platform.
We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, review, edit, reject, remove, or disable any listing, profile, application, or account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use ABRUV for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
- post false, inaccurate, deceptive, discriminatory, offensive, or infringing content;
- upload viruses, malware, or malicious code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, accounts, or systems;
- scrape, copy, harvest, or extract platform data without permission;
- interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the website;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- use the platform to send spam or unauthorised marketing.
We may investigate misuse and take action including removal of content, suspension of access, termination of accounts, and reporting to relevant authorities.
7. Employer and Recruiter Obligations
If you are an employer or recruiter, you agree that you will:
- post only genuine and lawful vacancies;
- ensure your job ads are clear, fair, and not misleading;
- not post discriminatory content or requirements except where lawful;
- not request unlawful payments from candidates;
- handle candidate data in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws;
- keep all account and company information accurate.
We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend employer access where we reasonably believe a listing is suspicious, misleading, unlawful, harmful to users, or damaging to platform trust.
8. Job Seeker Obligations
If you are a job seeker, you agree that you will:
- submit truthful and accurate information;
- apply only for roles you are genuinely interested in;
- not misrepresent your qualifications, work history, or identity;
- understand that applications submitted through ABRUV may be reviewed directly by employers or recruiters, not by ABRUV.
We do not guarantee that any application will receive a response, interview, or offer.
9. Fees, Paid Services, and Billing
Some features of ABRUV may be paid, including job postings, subscriptions, promotional services, or premium tools.
Where fees apply:
- pricing will be shown before purchase;
- you agree to pay all applicable charges;
- payments may be processed through third-party payment providers;
- recurring services may renew automatically if stated at checkout;
- taxes may apply where required.
UK online-business rules require businesses to present key contract information clearly, including price and contract-ending conditions where relevant.
Unless otherwise stated:
- fees are non-refundable once the relevant service has started or been delivered;
- we may suspend paid services for non-payment;
- we may change pricing at any time for future purchases or renewal periods.
10. Cancellations and Termination
You may stop using ABRUV at any time.
If you have a paid subscription or recurring service, you may cancel future renewals in accordance with the cancellation terms presented to you at signup or in your account settings.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access immediately if:
- you breach these Terms;
- we suspect fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity;
- required by law;
- necessary to protect users, ABRUV, or third parties.
Termination does not affect any accrued rights, liabilities, payment obligations, or provisions intended to continue after termination.
11. Content and Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in ABRUV, including the website design, text, graphics, logos, software, databases, and platform content, are owned by or licensed to us, unless otherwise stated.
You retain ownership of content you upload or submit, but by submitting content through ABRUV, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the platform.
You must not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of ABRUV without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of ABRUV is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie practices. We process personal data in line with applicable data protection law, and UK data protection expectations continue to be shaped by ICO guidance and the Data (Use and Access) Act implementation in 2026.
If you are an employer or recruiter receiving candidate data through ABRUV, you are responsible for your own lawful handling of that personal data.
13. Cookies and Electronic Communications
ABRUV may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, preferences, and where applicable advertising or marketing. UK PECR rules and ICO cookie guidance are relevant to this activity.
Where required, we will request consent for non-essential cookies and for certain marketing communications.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
ABRUV may integrate with or link to third-party services, websites, payment processors, analytics providers, or communication tools. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party services.
Your use of such third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
15. No Guarantee of Jobs or Candidates
ABRUV does not guarantee:
- that any job listing will result in applications, interviews, or hires;
- that any candidate is suitable, qualified, available, or truthful;
- that any employer is legitimate, solvent, or actively hiring;
- that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
Users should carry out their own due diligence before entering into employment, recruitment, or commercial arrangements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ABRUV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to ABRUV shall not exceed:

- if you paid nothing, £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
