Job Title: Domestic Staff Recruiter

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Domestic Staff Recruiter to source, screen, and place domestic aides, nannies, housekeepers, drivers, and other household staff for individuals, families, and households.
  • The ideal candidate will understand the unique needs of private households, maintain confidentiality, and build trusted relationships with clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and present qualified domestic staff candidates for private households (nannies, caregivers, housekeepers, cooks, butlers, maids, drivers, estate managers, gardeners, tutors, etc.).
  • Conduct thorough pre-screening, including background checks, reference verification, shift and temperament assessment, and skill evaluations.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between clients and candidates; provide interview coaching and feedback.
  • Assess fit with family culture, household routines, languages, and special needs (e.g., elderly care, child safety, bilingual requirements).
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: job posting, candidate outreach, intake meetings with clients, shortlisting, offers, and onboarding coordination.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of domestic staff candidates; maintain a candidate database with up-to-date status.
  • Draft and present candidate profiles and client-ready summaries
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and contract development.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection for all client and candidate information.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by understanding family priorities, privacy needs, and safety standards.
  • Track metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction, retention rates) and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Stay informed on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and the availability of skilled domestic staff.

Performance Metrics

  • Time-to-fill for domestic staff roles.
  • Candidate quality and client satisfaction scores.
  • Offer acceptance rate and onboarding success.
  • Retention rate of placed staff at 6–12 months.
  • Compliance and accuracy of background checks and documentation.

Qualifications

  • OND in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in domestic staff recruitment or private household staffing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with background checks, reference verification, and credential verification.
  • Understanding of local labor laws, contract standards, and processes related to domestic staff.
  • Experience coordinating placements across different locations or regions (if applicable).
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools; strong MS Office/Google Workspace skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in households with diverse language needs.
