Summary
- We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer to drive the sales and market presence of our bottled water and PVC pipe products.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong customer relationships, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring consistent revenue growth.
Summary of Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new markets, customers, and distribution channels for bottled water and PVC pipes.
- Manage key accounts and customer relationships across retail, wholesale, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns (offline and digital) to drive brand visibility.
- Organize product demonstrations, trade exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Create marketing content including brochures, social media posts, and sales presentations.
- Collaborate with the production team to align sales efforts with product availability.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure timely delivery and after-sales support in collaboration with the logistics team.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Provide strategic input on pricing, product packaging, and promotional offers.
- Analyze sales data and recommend actionable improvements.
Academic Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in FMCG or commodity products.
- Prior experience in selling bottled water and/or PVC pipes is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage field activities efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
