Shulifang Biotechnology is a fast growing company situated in the Lekki free zone, Lagos state. We are into the production of FMCG products such as Detergent, liquid soap, edible oil, PET bottles, face powder, perfumes, etc.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Locations: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Sales Director
Job Summary
- The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned region by managing marketers, distributors, and sub-distributors, ensuring effective market coverage, achieving sales targets, and implementing company sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Management:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance of marketers.
- Ensure proper product availability and visibility in all assigned territories.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
Team Management & Supervision:
- Supervise, coach, and motivate marketers within the region.
- Assign sales routes, territories, and targets to marketers.
- Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews.
- Recommend disciplinary actions or rewards based on performance.
Distributor & Channel Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors and sub-distributors.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor stock levels at distributor outlets and prevent stock shortages.
- Ensure timely payment and proper stock accountability.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track stock movement, sales trends, and market feedback.
- Ensure marketers submit reports and comply with company policies.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Gather competitor information and market insights.
- Provide feedback to management on pricing, promotions, and customer needs.
- Implement company promotions and ensure compliance in the field.
Compliance & Ethics:
- Enforce company rules, sales policies, and code of conduct.
- Ensure ethical sales practices and proper representation of the company.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate when necessary.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of regional sales targets
- Distributor acquisition and retention
- Marketer productivity and coverage
- Stock turnover rate
- Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- HND / B.Sc in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in sales management (preferably FMCG or pharma)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good reporting and analytical skills.
